Easy Expat International is seeking a Construction Manager for a mission in Middle East. We are looking for a Construction Manager in charge of all the construction works: – Civil works – Structural works, plateworks, piping, mechanical erection – Electrical works Activities : – Lead coordination meetings with Superintendents, Supervisors and Vendor specialists – Dispatch activities to Superintendents and Supervisors directly reporting to the Construction Manager – Attend coordination meetings with Client to discuss interfaces with other contractors and validate access dates – Lead coordination meetings with Sub-contractors – Arbitrate different priorities – Inform Site Manager of concerns with either time or commercial impacts. – Review and validate the planning of works with Our Client Planning Engineer – Assist Our Client Planning Engineer with any updates and/or revisions – Monitor the progress with the assistance of the Construction Superintendents – Inform the Site Manager of any delays – Review, validate and revise the method statements and sequences of works with the assistance of Construction Superintendents/Supervisors. – Make sure that construction is executed as per drawings, specifications and contractual requirements Key skills Experience in construction of industrial plant with the following experiences: – Heavy and critical lifting – Silos and/or tanks – Structural steel – Plateworks (ducting, stacks, filters) – Piping – Mechanical works – Civil works – Electrical works The site conditions will be : – Rotation 13 weeks at work /2 weeks on vacation on single status or 26/3 on family status – The work week is alternate 5 days one week and 6 days the second week – Daily allowances: 23 BHD per calendar day of presence in Bahrain – Individual accommodation provided by Our Client (in the limit of 800 BHD per month) – Individual car provided by Our Client (Toyota Rav 4 or equivalent) – Work visa and resident card (CPR) provided by Our Client. – Flight ticket in economic class The expected start date is 16th October 2017 The end date should be end of February 2019 with possible extension.
